S.A.F.E. Kids

Ozark Mountain Gymnastics is excited to announce S.A.F.E. Kids! S.A.F.E. (School Assistance For Excellence) Kids is a plan that was designed to help families once the school year starts.

*The weekly program will run Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm. Drop-off will begin at 7:45am.

*The program is for children Kindergarten thru 8th Grade.

*WE ARE NOT TEACHERS. WE WILL NOT BE TEACHING. We will help with getting set up and logged in, but will not be able to teach school lessons. We will have 2 college students here that will be able to help with homework and questions.

*Based on the current SPS schedule, we will have 3 separate schedules available: Monday-Wednesday, Wednesday- Friday and a Monday-Friday. We will only allow 20 participants on Mon/Tues and Thurs/Fri, with classes overlapping on Wednesday for SPS Virtual Learning Day.

*The program will combine homework/virtual study time, playtime, open gym, games, movies, etc.

*We will have a socially distanced learning center set up upstairs with tables and chairs to assist with homework or virtual learning.

*The Mon/Tues or Thurs/Fri will be a scheduled routine with schooling in the morning hours followed by lunch and movies, games or free play.

*Wednesdays will be spent doing the SPS virtual schooling or additional independent work.

*We will not provide any school related supplies or equipment. Please make sure your child has all necessary gear for them to perform including paper, writing utensils, computer, etc.

*Headphones will be required.

*We will provide 2 snacks per day. You are responsible for a (peanut/tree nut free) sack lunch. We have a refrigerator and microwave available.

*Parents will not be allowed upstairs in the viewing area or in the lobby to watch at this time.

We will follow the safety/health guidelines below:
**Coaches and students ages 11 & up are required to wear a mask. Masks are encouraged for all students.
**We will be continuously sanitizing and cleaning.
**If your child complains about not feeling well or has a cough, they will be sent home.
**Any student with a temperature of 100.4 will not be allowed to stay for the day.

Drop off will consist of a marked off drop-off lane on the east side of the building. From 7:45am-8:15am, a staff member will meet your car in the designated drop-off spot. Upon putting your vehicle in park, the staff will take the students forehead temperature with a touch less thermometer. They will then help them get out of the vehicle and in the building. If you are dropping off after 8:15am, please park and come into the lobby to drop off.

Kids can be picked up anytime. Before 4:30pm, an adult must come inside the lobby to get them. From 4:30pm-5pm, we will run the same carline, but will bring the kids back out to the vehicle. We cannot buckle your student into their carseat or seatbelt. Each student will get 4 name tags to use during pick up. Additional tags are available. Please make sure the tag is visible to help speed up the pick-up process. Any vehicle sent to pick up that does not have a tag must come into the lobby to pick up. An ID will be required to pick up. S.A.F.E. Kids is over at 5pm. Any students picked up late will incur a per-day, late pick-up fee.

Registration is done thru the Parent Portal. S.A.F.E. Kids is listed under the CAMPS section. Payment is required at time of registration. Rates are based on our summer camp price of $30/day. There are no refunds if your student leaves early, misses a day due to illness or personal reasons, or is sent home. No exceptions.
